Silvia Bruno de la Cruz is Director of Innovation and Technology at Redeia since 2011 and is a member of its Executive Committee. At the same time, she is  Chief Innovation & Technology Officer of Elewit, Redeia’s innovation platform and investment vehicle for different business projects related to energy transition, decarbonisation of the economy and communications. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of HISPASAT.

She has developed her entire career in the energy sector at different stages from upstream to downstream gas and electricity, with a special focus on innovation and disruptive and sustainable technologies with a positive impact on the economy and society.

Silvia holds a Degree in Civil Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and Materials Engineering from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, a master’s degree in Gas from the Instituto Superior de la Energía (REPSOL-YPF) and a PDM from IESE. She has attended leadership and digitalisation programmes at different institutions such as IMD Business School, MIT Sloan School, and ASPEN Institute.
