Pablo del Río

Pablo del Río is a OPIS Scientific Researcher of the Institute of Public Goods and Policies (IPP) at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), where he is Head of the Research Group on Environmental Economics (GEA). He is also an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Alcalá (UAH)
He has more than 100 publications in leading international journals and has participated in nine European research projects and advised several governments. He regularly participates in postgraduate courses related to environmental, energy and innovation economics.
He has devoted his research efforts over the last twenty-five years to the analysis of instruments for the promotion of renewable energies. His research areas focus on environmental economics, economics of innovation and economics of energy.
He holds a PhD and degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM).
