Clara Martínez-Toledano

Clara Martínez-Toledano is Assistant Professor of Financial Economics at the Imperial College London and Wealth distribution coordinator of the World Inequality Database (WID) at the World Inequality Lab. Her research interests focus on public finance, household finance, macroeconomics and political economy.
She is also a Research Affiliate of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) and the CESifo Research Network, as well as a Research Fellow at the EU Tax Observatory and Senior Fellow (Inequality and Fiscal Policy) at the Esade Centre for Economic Policy (EsadeEcPol). Previously, she was Visiting Research Scholar at the Columbia Business School.
She holds a PhD in Economics and a master’s in public policy and development from the Paris School of Economics, and a Master in Economic Analysis and a BA in Economics from the Carlos III University of Madrid.
