Rogelio Núñez Castellano is Senior Research Fellow at the Elcano Royal Institute.
Lecturer of the master’s degree in Political Action, Citizen Participation and Institutional Strengthening the rule of law at the Francisco de Vitoria University (UFV-Spain), and the master’s degree in Communication and Political Marketing at the Institute of Latin American Studies of the University of Alcalá. He has been a lecturer at several universities: Camilo José Cela (Spain), Universidad de los Andes (Chile) and Universidad Francisco Marroquín y Rafael Landívar (Guatemala). Professor of History of Law and economics at CEDEU, Center for University Studies-URJC (2015-16). Visiting professor at the Institute of Latin American Studies (IELAT) of the University of Alcalá (2017-2019). Deputy director of Infolatam, a publication focused on Latin American issues (2005-2017).
Ph.D. in Contemporary History of Latin America from Instituto Universitario de Investigación Ortega y Gasset (Madrid’s Universidad Complutense).
Research areas: expert in history and political and electoral processes in Latin America. His research areas are focused on the history and Latin American current political affairs.
