This third and last session of the series ‘The Indo-Pacific in today’s international order’ dealt with the foreign policy of three traditional US allies and partners that at the same time maintain a close economic relationship with China: Australia, Korea and Japan. Their positioning in the rivalry between the two superpowers and their different ways of trying to maintain an independent policy were analysed.
