The Elcano Royal Institute and Egmont (the Royal Institute of International Relations of Belgium) are organising the roundtable ‘Defining an Enlarged and Deepened Europe’ to analyse two key issues for the future of Europe after the elections: enlargement and EU reform. The seminar, held in the context of the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU, aims to promote cooperation between the think tanks in Spain and Belgium, with participation from speakers from Latvia, North Macedonia, and Poland. The event will be concluded by the Secretary of State for the European Union and the Director General for European Affairs of the Belgian Government.
