Thursday, 31st October 2024, from 12:00 to 13:30 h. CET (UTC+1) Venue: Espacio Bertelsmann (c/ O’Donnell 10, Madrid).
At the beginning of a new European institutional cycle, one of the central issues on the 2024-2029 agenda will be enlargement policy, along with the debate on the reforms that should be introduced to ensure that the accession of future members does not harm the already complex functioning of the EU.
The Elcano Royal Institute is contributing to this reflection with the Elcano Policy Paper “Deepening for widening: A Spanish perspective on the reforms needed to ensure and improve the governance of an enlarged EU”, which brings the Spanish approach to the debate.
