The UN Climate Change Conference (COP29 – #COP29) is taking place in Baku (Azerbaijan) from 11 to 22 November 2024. Among the key priorities of COP 29 are securing a new goal on climate finance, ensuring every country has the means to take much stronger climate action, slashing greenhouse gas emissions and building resilient communities.
As in COP25, the Elcano Royal Institute is participating in the 29th meeting of the COP by supporting the design of the more than 50 side events of the Spanish Pavilion –in which different Spanish and international institutions, companies and administrations are participating–, as well as co-organising specific events and the participation of members of the research team as speakers.
- The complete programme and information on the events are available on the website of the Spanish Pavilion.
- You can also follow them live on the Fundación Biodiversidad’s YouTube channel and on its social media channels.
